Dee

Dee first tried pole dancing when she visited one of our Sweat or Sparkle open days. There was nothing more fun than getting her workout done while dancing and now she is excited to share the fun with all of her students. 

After dancing her first solo routine, along with her usual group routines, at the Diamond Dance Christmas Showcase she found that performing was something magical. It gave her the confidence to want to perform more often and share the feeling of pole dancing with as many people as possible. So, when the opportunity to become an instructor at Diamond Dance came along, she couldn’t say no. 

Teaching has become one of Dee’s obsessions. “It’s so exciting seeing them all grow into beautiful butterflies.”

Originally from New Zealand, this Marvel-loving, cake decorator found her home in Perth in 2012. She has a background in jazz, hip hop, contemporary and ballet that adds to her passion for dance. Dee is always welcomed home from any long day by her fur babies, her diva cat called King Bob and her giant but generous dog, Trevor. Her fur babies plus a glass of red wine makes any night of Dee’s sensational.
